Minden-Tahoe Airport is home base to approximately 400 aircraft including over 100 gliders. Annual aircraft movements are estimated in excess of 90,000 with about 40 percent of these as glider/tow plane operations and motorgliders. Formerly Douglas County Airport, Minden-Tahoe Airport is one of the leading general aviation airports in the Lake Tahoe region.
We pride ourselves on being a good neighbor to those in our surrounding area and make sure to provide pilots with specific noise abatement information so that they fly their aircraft as quietly as possible and preserve the peaceful nature of our beautiful community.
